Introduction to Writing Tips

Welcome to Nkengasong Press! Nkengasong Press is a publishing company dedicated to sharing the stories of the marginalized voices that have often not been publicized. As of today, June 28, 2021, Nkengasong Press is not soliciting books for publication. However, in the years to come, we will keep you updated of any changes.

In the meantime, we are dedicated to providing writers with writing tips to help advance their writing. A great portion of these writing tips will come from recently released books because we believe that reading is essential to improve as a writer. Accordingly, once a month, we will be publishing short video clips of illustrated book summaries followed by a review of each book. Thereafter, we will be sharing a Top Five Writing Tips video for each book. Also, look out for our other writing tips videos on commonly-made writing mistakes and instructional blog posts and videos providing you with tips on how to write a compelling and well-written story.

Moreover, because we at Nkengasong Press know how daunting writing can be, we will also be providing you with motivational videos meant to help get you excited about writing and out of your writer's fog. Additionally, for all my self-publishing writers out there, we will also be sharing tips on how to self-publish a book.
